Helen Jaynes
Oct. 15, 1924 - Oct. 5, 1996Helen Jaynes, 71, of Pekin and formerly of Seymour and Scottsburg, died at 3:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct 5, 1996, at her home.
Mrs. jaynes was affiliated with Scottsburg Apostolic Church. She was a homemaker and also was a former employee of Salem Poultry Co. and Williams Nursing Home in Salem.
Born Oct. 15, 1924, in Stonega, Va., she was a daughter of Sam and Lula Stanley Miller.
She maried Harold L. Jaynes, who died Dec 16, 1985.
Survivors include a daughter, Frankie J. Roe, Pekin; a sister, Virginia Crawford, Big Stone Gap, Va.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by five sisters and a brother.
The Rev. Neal McCoy was to conduct services at 10:30 a.m. today at Dawalt Funeral Home in Salem, with burial to take place a Riverview Cemetery, Seymour.
