Della M. Jaynes, 91, of Seymour died at 12:20 a.m. today, June 6, 1996, at Heritage House in Seymour.
Mrs. Jaynes was a homemaker and a member of Seymour Christ Temple Apostalic. Born Sept. 4, 1904, in Jackson County, she was a daughter of William and Olive Martin Alexander. On Oct. 8, 1920, in Brownstown, she married James "Jim" Jaynes, who died Oct. 21, 1989.
Survivors include three daughters, Joyce Bode and Madelyn Kiser, both of Seymour; and Louise Pearson, San Bernardino, Calif; 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 21 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, two brothers and four sisters.
The Rev. Dennis Allman will conduct services at 11 a.m. Saturday at Voss and Sons Funeral Service, Voss Chapel, Seymour, with burial to follow in Riverview Cemetery, Seymour.
Friends my call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions my be given to Seymour Christ Temple Apostolic.
