When he moved to Plainview he lighted the city gas lights each night before they had electricity.

The genealogist found no grave markers for Rudolph and Anna. An old cemetery map named "2 Germans Unknown," so the genalogist claimed these graves through the cemetery board and the county attorney and ordered a marker placed as of April, 1990.
