Images of living persons will not be posted on the George Gidney Family Organizations website without written permission of the person(s) in the photo. Permission forms can be obtained by contacting the Site Editor. Geneological references to living persons will also require written permission of the person being documented. We feel it is appropriate to thank our authors, contributors, and others who do so much for our organization. If your name pops up in a thank you list and you don't want it there, please contact us. The hardest pages to produce are the sections on past reunions. While reunions are public events within the Gidney Family, it is stretching it perhaps to consider it public enough for a website. This means we can have graphics of food, displays, presentation outlines; but not of the PEOPLE giving the presentation, eating the food, etc. unless we have a written permission form filled out. We have not made a great effort to publize our site outside of the Gidney Family Organization members and a few selected genealogical sites. Including, but not limited to: Rootsweb.com, Box Elder County links. |
