Deed. George Biddle & Wife to John Biddle.  This Indenture made the first day of April in the AD 1835. Between George Biddle of Woodbury Township in the County of Huntingdon & State of Pennsylvania & Nancy his wife of the one part and John Biddle of the Township County and State aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the said George Biddle & Nancy his wife for and in consideration of the sum of Four Hundred & Fifty Dollars lawful money of the United States to them in hand paid by the said John Biddle on and before the ensealing and Delivery of these presents the receipt and payment whereof the do hereby actknowledge and the re of acquit & forever discharge the said John Biddle & his heirs & assigns by these presents have granted bargained sold aliened, enfeoffed, released and confirmed & by these presents do grant bargain sell alien enfeoff release and confirm unto the said John Biddle & to his heirs & assigns. All that tract of land lying & situated in Woodbury Township County & State oforesaid adjoining the said George Biddle land Beginning at a white____ near a run thence north  twenty one degrees east seven perches to a chestnut oak. Thence north seven degrees west 26 perches to a fallen sp____oak, thence north sixteen degrees East, one hundred & Twenty perches to a hickory stump, Thence south forty two degrees west, one hundred & nine and half perches to white oak, thence north sixty one degrees west, forty perches too white___ Thence north Thirty seven degrees west one hundred  seven perches to a ____ Thence south Twenty four and half degrees west sixty one perches to a pass Thence south forty three degrees East fifty eight-perches too white oak Thence south Thirty Three degree East Twenty six perches to a Hickory Thence south sixty degrees east fifty Two & half perches to a maply. Thence East Twelf degrees to a whit walnut close on the rund thence south sixty degrees East ten perches to a gum Thence south seventy eight degrees East Eleven perches to chestnut oak Thence south fifty three degrees east eight perches to an Ironwood, Thence south sevnty three degrees East Fourteen perches to a linn, Thence south fity two? Degrees East Fourteen perches to the place of beginning Containing seventy one acres and 146 perches with the usual allowance of six percent for roads &c Being part of a larger tract of land that the said George Biddle bought from Jacob Shenefelt & George sited moy?er? by their deed bearing date the  __ day of April AD 1833, reference may be had to the said deed & patten wich the George Biddle holds party hereunto. Together with all & singular the buildings improvements rights liberties privileges hereditaments and appurten… whatsoever thereunto belonging or __ any wise appertaining & the reverse & reminders rents issues and profits thereof Also all the estate rights title interest property claim and  alwoud what soever of them the part ….(missing a line on my copy)…intended so to be with the appurtences.. to the said John Biddle & to his heirs and assigns to the only proper use and benefit & behoof of the said John Biddle & his heirs & assigns forever. And the said George Biddle and Nancy his wife their heirs executors & adminstrations do hereby covenant assigns by these presents that they the said George Biddle & Nancy his wife and their heirs the above mentioned and described tract of land thereby granted mentioned or intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said John Biddle to him heirs & assigns against themselves and their heirs and against all and every other person or persons whom so ____ lawfully claiming the same or any part thereof from or under these or any of them shall warrant and forever defend by these presents In witness whereof the parties have set their hands & seals obey and date above first written.

            {seal} Personally came before me the subscribers one of the Justices of the peace in and for said County George Biddle and Nancy his wife & acknowledged the with in Indenture to be their act and deed and desired that the same might be recorded as such, she the said Nancy being of full age and by me separate and apart from her said husband examined and the contents first made known to her own free will & accord & without any coercion an part of her said husband did sign seal & deliver the said Indenture.
