Dear Old Pal,

Well how you was? & everybody. We are all well only gee it sure was cold here this winter. I haven't been uptown only 2 since Xmas. We don't have a battery for car so I walk and you know I don't like that. How is my little Hot Shot? Wish I could see. Hey we often talk of her and the kids. Do you really like it there & what is Roy doing & how is everything. Do you think it would be a good place for us? Well Blanche, Boogie did not have the family so Bill and I are getting along fine. He is foreman of the wood yard for the county now. So we have a little income now. Guess you knew Hedlan has been pretty sick and now she has small pox. Poor kid, think she must be in bad shape. Muriel Shoddy are in Stapleton, both well. You spoke of garden and there it is snowing now.
