Special to the News Press (no date on clipping, he died November 17th, 1967 in Anthony, KS.) Anthony,
KS. Julius C. LaMunyon, 83, a native of Grant City, died Friday at the
Anthony Hospital after a long illness. A former farmer and road construction
worker, Mr. LaMunyon had resided in Anthony, (Kansas) since his retirement in
1959. Surviving are his wife Rosa, two daughters; Mrs. Vergie Winter, Kansas
City, and Mrs. Doris Van Houtan, Wichita: two step-sons, Gerrold LaMunyon,
Yorba Linda, Cal. and Max LaMunyon, Modesto Cal.; a step-daughter, Mrs. Iris
Greaves, San Jose Cal.; two sisters Mrs. Elizabeth Perry, Enid, OK and Mrs.
Mary Hays of Anthony and a brother, Bill LaMunyon, Wakita, OK. The body is at
Parsons Mortuary, Anthony, where services will be tomorrow at 11:00.
Graveside services will be Tuesday at 10:30 at the Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Grant
