Elizabeth Carson Hanna

married Henry Clay Hanna "in the little brick house still situated [as of 1917] near the northeast corner of Barr and Berr Streets", Fort Wayne, Indiana on October 25, 1854

Notes written by my grandmother indicate that Elizabeth came from Canada and that her parents came from Ireland. This is confirmed by the Griswold volume, which mentions that after her father died, Catherine and her mother moved to Fort Wayne to live with Catherine's brother, William W. Carson, Jr., who was a "town attorney and drafted Fort Wayne's first city charter, served as a Democratic member of the Indiana legislature and as a judge of the common pleas court of Allen County."
