aka George Teter, born June 1699 in Germany, married Margaret (Luttman) on 19 November 1720 in Schwaigern, Germany. Their fourth child also named George Teter, born 6 April 1730 in Virginia and Anna Margaret (Henckel), born 9 December 1738 in Pennsylvania were Margaret (Teter) Mitchell's parents.
Margaret (Teter) Mitchell, born in 1766 in Rockingham County, now West Virginia; died in 1803 in Lewis County, West Virginia. Margaret married John Mitchell in 1783.
"Teter Descendants" traces through records kept at the Lutheran Church in Schwaigern, Germany to Michael Dieter who married Catherine (Nortten) on 29 April 1606.
