Secretary Dies Here

Leo
J. Brennan, 60, retired secretary-treasurer of the former Service Pipe
Line Co. here, died of cancer today in a Tulsa hospital.
He lived at 6103 S. 72nd E. Ave.
Mr.
Brennan retired from Service in 1969 and later was a real estate salesman.
He joined Service as a lineman in 1934 and was a senior clerk,
section head and assistant controller prior to becoming
secretary-treasurer in 1963.
He
was a native Tulsan and attended the University of Tulsa, Oklahoma School
of Accountancy here and the University of Pittsburgh.
His father, the late Edward J. Brennan, was an early-day real
estate dealer and developer here.
MR.
BRENNAN was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the
Asiatic-Pacific theater. He
was a Roman Catholic and was a member of the Tulsa Elks Lodge and Knights
of Columbus. He was past
president of the Catholic Activities organization here.
Surviving
are his widow, Ramona; three sons, James of 3005 E. Independence St.,
Robert R. of Stillwater and Leo Jr. of Plano, Tex.; two daughters, Judy
Brennan of 6326 S. Newport Ave. and Mrs. Maureen Rosser of Plano; a
step-son, James F. Phelps of San Diego, Calif.; two step-daughters, Mrs.
Loretta Cordova of San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Mrs. Donna Timo of Dallas; a
sister, Mrs. R.T. Burke of 6515 E. 50th St.; three grandchildren and four
stepchildren.
A
rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Fitzgerald’s Ivy Chapel.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St.
Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial
will be in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Friends
are donating to the American Cancer Society.
