WIFE
OF HERBERT HOLDEN, 64, DIES

Mrs. Marion S.
Holden, 64, wife of Herbert P. Holden, died at her home on the Chestnut
Ridge road, town of Henderson, at 10:10 this morning after an illness of
seven months.
She was born Feb.
24, 1877, a daughter of Clay and Eliza Stokes Holden. Mrs. Holden was a
member of the Methodist church in Sackets Harbor. She had raised from
childhood Roy Westcott, an orphan not related to her.
Mrs. Holden is
survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Jesse Outwater; one son,
Arthur; one grand-daughter, June Outwater, all of Chestnut Ridge road; one
sister, Mrs. Charles Westcott, Watertown, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services
will take place from her home Wednesday afternoon at 2. Rev. Arthur H.
Joyce of the Sackets Harbor Methodist church will officiate. Burial will
be in Sackets Harbor.
