Nikolaus Fischer, son of George Adam Fischer and Christina Schlindewein, catholic, farmer, was born on October 27, 1829 in Karlsdorf, Baden, Germany. He married Sophia Hörner about 1856. Sophia, daughter of George Henriques Hörner and Catharina Riffel, born on May 04, 1832 in Karlsdorf, Baden, Germany.Nikolaus, 30 years old and Sophia, 28 years old, accompanied by their small children Heinrich Fischer, 3 years old, and Georg Daniel, 1 1/2 years old immigrated to the formal Itajaí, currently Brusque, State of Santa Catarina, Brazil in August 19, 1860. They came with the second wave of German immigrants (32 families, 132 people). From Florianopólis, where they first landed, to Itajaí, they were transported by the war ship Ivaí and accompanied by Major João Melo and Alvim.As Nikolaus Fischer's agricultural skills developed he became extremely proficient; thus winning the first, second and fourth Agricultural Exposition of the Colony for his sugar cane crops in 1872, 1873, 1875.

Ele casou-se com Sophia Hörner aproximadamente em 1856. Sophia, filha de George Henrique Hörner e Catharina Riffel, nasceu no dia 04 de Maio de 1832 em Karlsdorf, Baden, Alemanha.Nikolaus com 30 anos de idade acompanhado de sua esposa Sophia de 28 anos e seus dois filhos Heinrich Fischer de 3 anos e Georg Daniel Fischer de 1 1/2 anos imigraram para a antiga vila Itajaí, atual Brusque no estado de Santa Catarina, Brasil em 19 de Agosto de 1860. Eles chegaram na segunda leva de colonos alemães (32 famílias, com 132 pessoas). Do Desterro em Florianópolis até Itajaí, foram transportados no navio de guerra "Ivaí" e acompanhados desde a Capital até àquele porto pelo Major João de Souza Melo e Alvim.Nikolaus Fischer desenvoulveu intensamente suas atividades agrícolas, tendo sido premiado pela sua produção de açúcar na primeíra, segunda e quarta Exposições da Sociedade Agrícola Colonial realizadas em 1872, 1873 e 1875.

Nikolaus, 30 Jahre alt und Sophia, 28 Jahre alt, begleitet durch ihre kleinen Kinder Heinrich Fischer, 3 Jahre alt, und Georg Daniel, 1 1/2 Jahr alt eingewandert zum formellen Itajaí, momentan Brüsk, Staat von Santa Catarina, Brasilien in 19 August 1860. Sie sind mit der zweiten Welle deutscher Einwanderer (32 Familien, 132 Leute) gekommen.
