SUMMARY FOR GROUP-3
William Walker had several sons,
so there is potential for more participants than there are. Known
sons are John, William, James, Arthur, Edward D., Walter and Samuel.
His sons John, William and Edward D. all stayed in New Hanover CO. NC in the
area between Moore's and Long Creeks in present day Pender Co. NC.
His other sons all moved on to other states in the Southland. Walter, who is
said to be the twin brother of Edward, moved to Screven Co. GA. around 1816.
Arthur moved on to Georgia (Crawford County maybe), and brothers James and
Samuel ended up in Lauderdale Co., MS. They all had male issue so there should be
more male descendants around today. Male Walkers from these areas
are encouraged to participate.
Kits # 1175 and 739 are father and son and were tested to see if there could
have been any mutations between them.
Kits # 739 and # 9339 are fourth cousins.
