First Generation:

1. Elijah Baldwin was born on 16 May 1756; died 5 July 1841 in Dover, VT. He married Asenath Allen 28 Septemebr 1780 in Mansfield, CT. Asenath Allen was born 18 February 1758 in Mansfield, CT.

Elijah is an SAR Patriot. He served as a private, orderly & sergeant. Enlisting in Mansfield, CT. He served in the First Foot Battalion, 16th Regiment under Captain Abel Botsford. Elijah is buried in the Baldwin Cemetery in Dover, VT.

Second Generation:

2. Asenath Baldwin was born 7 September 1784 in Dover, VT; died 13 March 1876 in Homer, Cortland County, NY. She married Nathaniel Jones. Nathaniel Jones was born in 1776; died 27 January 1860 in Homer, Cortland County, NY.

Third Generation:
(Elijah, Asenath)

3. Elliott Jones was born 28 March 1809 in Marlboro, VT; died 4 June 1880 in Lincoln, NE. He married Catherine Weller 30 June 1848 in IL. Catherine Weller was born 10 May 1810 in Germany; died 15 Nov 1857 in IL.

Fourth Generation:
(Elijah, Asenath, Elliott)

4. Louisa Catherine JONES, born 16 January 1849; died 27 February 1936 in Lincoln, Nebraska. She married Silas Preston RITCHEY, 26 June 1867. Silas Preston RITCHEY born 27 April 1846 in Carlyle, (Nicholas County) KY; died 08 November 1890 in Lincoln, NE. Silas served as a private in the 12th IL Cavalry in the US Civil War.
