Ivy (Mast) Balmer was the daughter of Joseph Kenege and Catherine (Eicholtz) Mast. She was the wife of Rev. John Ernest Balmer. They were married in the Fall of 1907. He was a minister in the Detroit Conference and Genesee Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church.

Mrs. Ivy M. Balmer was born in Urbana, Ohio on January 5, 188O to Joseph K. and Catherine Eicholtz Mast. She graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University, Delaware, Ohio and was a widow of Rev. J. Ernest Balmer.
She has been a resident of the LeRoy area since 1925, and taught English in the high school from that date until 1961. She was a member of the LeRoy United Methodist Church, LeRoy Historical Society and the LeRoy Garden Club. In past years she was extremely active in all these groups until, due to age and physical problems, it was difficult for her to attend them.
On September 9, 1975 she was stricken at her home and died while being transported to the Batavia hospital. Her funeral was conducted by a former pastor of the LeRoy United Methodist Church, Rev. Herbert W. H. Cory and the present pastor, Rev. Dr. Ralph W. Stenquist on September 11, 1975. Her body was interred in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Bolivar, New York. The only surviving relative is a son, Robert M. Balmer of LeRoy, New York.
As her pastor I was impressed by this woman, her faith, her stability and her brilliant mind. Now that she has passed into eternity, it seems fitting and proper to use the words of Charles Wesley as we recall her:
"Servant of God, well done!
The battle's fought, the race is won,
Thy glorious war-fare's past;
And thou art crowned at last."

There is also a stone in Upper Honey Creek Cemetery for William
The Evergreen Cemetery Burial records do not include a burial record for William, but the date is before they were required. As of this date, it is not known which cemetery he is buried in.
I would recommend someone reviewing to verify if any actual burial records exist for Upper Honey Creek for him.
It is apparent there are two markers in two different cemeteries for the same child.
