Milby Cemetery is located in the South ½ of the North-West Quarter of Section 27 in Rushville Twp or T2N-R1W. The Cemetery is located on the west side of a black-top road east of Rushville. No cemetery exemption has been found on any deed transfers. The stones have been reset and repaired by edward Milby and his township care. Recording starts in the NW corner of the cemetery as before stated

TUTT, Mary, wife of Burgett G-LUNG, MILBY
mary LUNG was born April 24, 1813 and died Feb 17, 1903. She married Benjamin L MILBY and Burgett G TUTT. Her son removed her remains to Delaware about 1916 or 1917 for reinterment.

The WILMOT Cemtery is located in the NW corner of the NE quarter of Section 10, Rushville Twp, Schuyler Co. This cemetery has not been deeded to the twonship, therefore, it has no care by the township or county. Permission was granted to David and Judy WARD by the owners of the land, Mr & Mrs. Everett McWhorter, in 1981 to cleanup the cemetery. Listed below are the stones found in the cemetery.

One other person, Permela MILLER is supposed to be buried at this cemetery according to her obituary in the Rushville newspaper, March 12, 1891.
MILLER, Permelia;wife of Smith MILLER d 2-28-1891 in her 78th year. Permelia was also the daughter of Washington & Mary WILMOT
In 1981 onlu the stone of Washington WILMOT was standing. Mary's stone was broken in three peices and part buried. Elizabeth's and Jemina's stones had fallen over and buried, but were whole. All the stones of the first four persons named above had footstones also. The four pairs of stones were brought from Putnam and Parsons of Beardstown at the price of $75 from the estate of Washington WILMOT. No stone has been found for Permelia SMITH.
In the fall of 1981, the stones of Elizabeth WILMOT and Jemina HURLY were re-set with the help of James Burnside, who was then the president of the Schuyler Jail Museum.
