Sarah Hill (407) was born 3 April 1803 on the Hill homestead in Fairfield Township, Crawford County, Pennsylvania. She is a daughter of Archibald Hill (210) and Mary Fulton (211). Sarah married Phillip Record (413) on 11 September 1828. Phillip is a son of Phillip (644) and Agnes (645) Record.

Together, Sarah and Phillip had five children: Benjamin (522), Mary Jane (523), Jane (524), born about 1838; Archibald (525), born about 1841; and Sarah Ann (526), born about 1848.

Phillip died 6 April 1865. He is buried in Cochranton Cemetery, Cochranton, Crawford County, Pennsylvania.
Sarah died 1 April 1886. She is also buried in Cochranton Cemetery.
