Arthur Hill (157)
was born on the Hill homestead, Fairfield Township, Crawford
County, Pennsylvania 31 October 1856, the youngest child of Timothy Hill (83) and Sarah
Montgomery (84). In 1879 he married Margaret Gourley
(159), who was born in 1859. Together they had nine children:
Earl (512), Irene (513), Scott (514), Nell
(515), Lillian (516), Ruth (517), William
Harrison (518) who married Ruth E. Lang (569) on 13
August 1927, Joseph A. (519) who married Madeline M.
Schaffner (668) on 8 November 1930, and John (520).
