Ann Hill (408) was born 23 October 1809 on the Hill homestead in Fairfield Township, Crawford County, Pennsylvania. She is a daughter of Archibald Hill (210) and Mary Fulton (211). Ann married George Merriman (415) on 24 December 1833.

Together they had three sons, William (761), born about 1830; Joseph (534), born about 1836; and Thomas (762), born about 1837.
