William Goff (51) was born 9 November 1797 in Ireland, a son of John Goffe (49) and Jane Gregston (50). He came to the United States with his parents in 1801, first to Maine, then in 1817 to the Pittsburgh area. He married Nancy Swindles (70) of Pittsburgh on 24 May 1824. Nancy died on 14 November 1824. William was married a second time to Sarah Ann Brandon (71) on 9 February 1826. William died 7 August 1842. Sarah died 18 April 1882.
