John Rodenbaugh (1057) was born 15 October 1782, in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He is the son of Joseph Rodenbaugh (1060) and Hannah Walker (1061). John married Elizabeth Fospinner (1057) in Bucks County. Elizabeth is a daughter of Henry Fasbenner (156) and Catherine ? (640). Elizabeth was born about 1775 in Bucks County.

Together, John and Elizabeth had eight children: Joseph (1058), born about 1804 and died before 1830; John (1065), born about 1807 and died as a child; Samuel (1066), born about 1808 and died as a child; Mary (48), who married Alexander Goff (46), was born about 1809 and died 14 Sep 1833; William (1062), born 27 Sep 1810 and died 27 Feb 1847; Hannah (1059), born 1813 and died after 1875; Henry (1067), born about 1815 and died as a child; and Charles (1068), born about 1816 and died as a child.

In 1807, John moved his family and his parents to Ohio Township, Allegheny County, PA. In 1830, John bought a farm known as Mount Pleasant in Ross Township, Allegheny County, PA from Thomas Reed.

John was active in the Methodist Episcopal Church. John and his father were trustees of the first church built in Bellvue, Allegheny County, PA in 1813.

John died 28 June 1844 in Ross Township, Allegheny County, PA. Elizabeth died about 1845 in Ross Township.
