Emma Goff was born 25 July 1857, a daughter of Alexander
Goff (46) and Mary Swier (47).
Emma married a widower, Tompson F. McCabe (184), on 14 November
1878. Tompson McCabe died ???. Emma then married her first cousin
(once removed) Edward Locke Goff (90) on 5 January 1887. Edward
is a son of Professor Milton Browning Goff, late Chancellor of
Western University (now University of Pittsburgh).
Edward was employed by a bank. For a time, Edward and Emma
lived in Philadelphia.
Edward died 16 December 1920 and is buried in Sewickly
Cemetery in Section B, Lot 25 , Sewickly, PA with his parents.
It is said that Emma later married J.W. Pitts. She was still
alive in February 1924. When she died and where she is buried
are unknown.
