These two surnames I have included together because of a certain Stonehouse family member who became famous and changed his name from Stonehouse to Barnes.  He was born Alpheus George
Barnes Stonehouse and later became known as Al G. Barnes, founder of the
Al G. Barnes Circus.

Al G. Barnes was the son of Thomas S. Stonehouse and Sarah Barnes, who were my great-great grandparents.

I have no information on Sarah's family so please contact me if you have information on her or her background.
