The Website of Sarah Gouin-Keerie

Genealogy

I have been researching my family history as time permits for a number of years having started with my paternal line. I have added my family tree to my site with the hope that by sharing I can fix some "brick walls", help others fill in their gaps and hopefully others will help me fill my gaps (and also if there are any errors, fix them!)

I try to regularly update the pages so do come back to see how things are progressing. Some of the names that you will find are: Gouin, Keerie, Weller, Rossiter, Cox, Rivard, Savell, Back, Beliveau, Lindridge, Lanouette, Eason, Rayfield, Hone and lots more!!!

My database can also be found on Ancestry.com as well as here on my website. Researching my family tree has not been easy and I am grateful for all the assistance from many people that have helped fill in blanks and where we have found that we can help each other, to them I send a very big thank you. I guess that along with a few others I have been digging through the 1901 census - although do check for other spellings of your family name, my Weller family came under Heller and Lewis was Ewis! The wealth of information you can find on the Internet has been a great help as well as mailing lists, forums and not forgotting those very helpful fellow genealogists out there and of course the family itself.

It has been great when I have been corresponding with someone and then contact someone else only to find that the two people I am talking to are related and in a couple of cases I have been able to put them in touch with each other as they lost contact many years ago. That makes genealogy definitely worth the time it takes!

I have gone through some of the 1891 census and links to some of my research are over on the left, I have also a note of some burials at Love Lane Cemetery in Faversham, Kent.

My tree can be found here and some genealogy links here.
