1855, 3 April Resigned to join Land Transport Corps and served in Crimea

1856, 1 September Re-admitted to R.I.C. without loss of service.

1857, 1 October Of Ferrybank Station, Waterford; rescued a women from a fire on the Quay, Waterford.

1858, 18 June Presented with a silver medal from the Society for the Protection of Life from Fire.

1859, 1 April Allocated to Fermanagh.

1860, 19 April Resigned from Royal Irish Constabulary.
