Whereas I Mathew English senr being in a declining and low state of health not capable of helping and supporting myself, also haveing one daughter namely Jenny in like condition not capable of takeing care & providing for her herself ye and I now being possessed of considerable property Viz. land, one mare & colt, about ten head of cattle, small stock of hoggs, small stock of sheep with one still, plantation tools of different sorts with household and kitchen furniture of different sorts ye all which I convenant and agree with my son Mathew English Jr for that is to say for and in consideration of his takeing me and my daughter Jenny into and under his care & suffering us during our natural life according to the best of his abilities in a reasonable descreationary way ye I hereby deed & give & deliver the said plantation with the before mentioned property Viz. the mare & colt, stock of cattle, Hoggs, sheep, plantation tools, house tools & kitchen furniture of every kind & sort with the still ye all into his hands & actual possession, he also hereby being bound & obliged to purform as above to take care of me dureing life and give me a decent burial & take care & support my daughter Jenny dureing life in the best maner her and his own circumstances will admit of ye. Signed and delivered in presence of us by both parties this 17th April 1804.

This Deed of Conveyance made this seventeenth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & four and in the twenty eighth year of Americas Independence Between Mathew English senr of the State of Georgia & County of Warren, planter of the one part & his son Mathew English Jnr of the same state & county, planter of the other part. Witnesseth the sd Mathew English Senr for & in consideration of the sum of five hundred dollars justly paid ye by the sd Mathew English Jnr he the said Mathew English snr hath bargained & sold and by this deed of Conveyance doth bargain & sell, convey enfeeoff in fee simple make over & deliver unto him the said Mathew English Jnr unto his Heirs & assigns forever, all that plantation or tract or parcel of land containing about two hundred acres be the same more or less which was granted to Brock Davis under the administration of George Mathews Esqr. Govenor Ye the 31st day of December in 1787 situate lying & being in the then County of Wilkes now Warren on a branch Called Stamp branch Rocky Comfort bounded when run on all sides by vacant now west by Averats North by Wilders East by Rabuns ye since conveyed by sd Davis & wife to the said Mathew English senr by deed of enfeeoffment dated 17th May 1793 as recorded in Clerks office of this County in Book A fols 75. 76. January 20th 1795. Ye and now the said Mathew English senr to the sd Mathew English Jnr together with all and singular the improvements as houses, fencing, orchards wood & waters with every advantage to sd premises belonging in any wise whatsoever only excepting about fourteen or fifteen acres in the south west side which is already conveyed to Wm. Averatt and to ye for him reserved. Ye warranting and hereby defending the remaining part against me my heirs & all & every other person & persons unto him the sd Mathew English Jnr & to his heirs and assigns forever in witness whereof. I hereunto set my hand & seal the day & year first above written.
