Indenture: Mattew ENGLISH & Ginney ENGLISH - William AVERETT
 

This Indenture made the nineteeth day of October in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred & one, and of American Independence the seventeenth between Matthew English Senr. & Ginney English of the State of Georgia & County of Warren, Planter, of the one part, & William Averett of the same State & County, planter of the other part Witnesseth, that the said Matthew English & Ginney English, for & in consideration of the sum of Twenty pounds Sterling, will & truly paid by the said William Averett before the signing & delivering of this Indenture, the said Matthew English Senr & Ginney English his wife, hath bargained & sold, & by this Indenture doth bargain & sell, convey & confirm unto the said William, & to his heirs and asigns forever, a parcell or Tract of land, the said to be fifteen acres, as is already laid off, out of a tract of land that Brock Davis sold to the said Henry Harp, out of two hundred acre tract, to be held to the said Averett. Beginning at a pine corner, runing No to 23 chs to a new corner pine, S. 46 E- 17 chs to a water oak & Branch, then down the said Branch to the beginning corner, to be held from the said Matthew English & Ginny his wife, to the said William Averett, more or less fifteen acres. Together with all and singular the rights, members & appurtenances thereof whatsoever to the said Tract of Land on the No side of the Stamp Branch belonging or in any wise appertaining, & also the estates, rights, titles, interest, claim & demands of them the said Matthew English & Ginny English his wife, their heirs, exrs, adm or any other person, will warrant and forever defend, of into or out of the same, to have & to hold, the said tract of fifteen acres, as is already laid off, and all & singular the premises aforesaid, with their every of their rights, members and appurtenances, unto the said William Averett his heirs and assigns, to his and their proper use and behoof forever, in fee simple. In witness whereof the said Matthew English & Ginney English his wife have here unto set their hands & seals, the day & year first above written.
