John Colemore Endean was baptised ¹ at Buckland Monachorum on the 30th September 1821 and died ² on the 10th October 1889 at Cramlington, Northumberland. His name comes from Betsy's brother-in-law, John Colemore, who married ³ her sister, Jane, on 1st June 1815.

John married ⁴ Ann Jackman Coram, a daughter of Henry Coram and Jenny Doidge at Buckland Monachorum on the 20th April 1842.
