Hendrick Emans was born about 1694. He married Sarah Verkerk of New Utrecht, Long Island. Sarah was the daughter of Roelof Jansen Verkerk and Catherine Simons. Hendrick and Sarah had two daughters. Catherine, born about 1715 and died about 1800 in Rocky Hill. She married Rudolph (Roeloff) Van Dyck on June 19, 1738. No information is available on Anna.
