1755. Minnie SMITH¹⁴⁰⁹ was born on 4 Jul 1911.¹⁴⁰⁶ She appeared in the census in 1920 in Sutton Co., TX.¹⁴¹³ listed as boarder. She died on 15 Jan 1967 in Del Rio, Val Verde Co., TX.¹⁴⁰⁶ Family tradition has it that she was taken in as a small child. She was an orphan whom William Lanson allegedly found on the street with a little bandanna tied on a stick over her shoulder. He took her home, and she lived there until she was grown.
