Sparks, Dorwin
Dorwin Sparks, 77, of Jasper, died Sunday, October 22, 2000 in Springfield, Missouri.
Funeral was 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 25th at Coffman Chapel in Jasper, Arkansas with Bobby Young officiating. Burial in Mossville Cemetery.
Dorwin was born November 7, 1922 at Murray, Arkansas, the son of the late Dell and Mable Willis Sparks.
He returned to Arkansas in 1991, after living in Idaho. He had been a fireman, carpenter, welder, plumber and electrician.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dotha Sparks and a brother.
Survivors are two sons, Eddie Dorwin Sparks of Battle Mountain, Nevada and Steven Wayne Sparks of Fayetteville, Georgia; a daughter, Donna Sue Goodrow of Grand Junction, Colorado; six grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Don
Ramsey, Tom Ramsey, Bob Ramsey, Doyle Gene Wheeler, Lawton Villines and
Eugene Sparks.
