Description: Salad
Ingredients:
1/4 cup red cinnamon candy
3 TABLESPOONS sugar
1 cup hot water
1 pkg. cherry flavored gelatin mix
1 cup cold water
1 cup diced apples
1/2 cup diced oranges
1/4 cup nuts
Directions:
Dissolve candy and sugar in hot water. Heat just to boiling. Pour over jello and stir to dissolve. Add cold water. Add red food coloring (if desired) for a brighter color. Chill until partially set. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into oiled, large or individual, star shaped molds. Chill until firm. Unmold on crisp lettuce and serve with a topping of mayonnaise.
