Edward Lee Patty, 68, of B ville, died Friday, Feb. 26 (1999) a his home. Funeral was 2 p.m. Monday, March I at the Northside Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Montgomery and rev Rainwater officiating Burial was in the Farmer Cemetery underthe direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Memorials maybe made to Carroll Regional hospital or the American Cancer Society.

He was born Jan. 7, 1931 in Carroll County a son of Eartle M. and Edith Brumley Patty. He attended the Northside Missionary Baptist Church and was an owner-operator of Doss and Patty Water Service.; He also served with the 142nd Field Artillery during the Korean War, being the youngest Master Sergeant. He was a member of the American Legion.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Argie and Donald Patty.

Survivors include his wife, Alice Jane Warren Patty of the home; two sons, Greg Patty and Kent Patty, both of Berryville; two daughters, Laurel Ashworth and Deneen Foster, both of Berryville; a brother, Roy Patty of Berryville; a sister, 'Wanda

Parker of Welch, Okla.@, a stepson, David Arnold; a stepdaughter, Betty Wood; four grandchiI-/ dren and five stepgrandchildren.
