Welcome to Ellis Surname DNA Project web site.
The purpose of this project is to understand the various lines of the Ellis surname through DNA testing. The project now has 93 members, 89 of which have tested through FTDNA. From the results so far it is obvious that there are many different Ellis families that are not connected within a genealogical time frame.
