Letter from Margery Garrison dated Nov. 28, 1995 about Orpha Adams dying:
Dear Blance (sic), Galen & Rick:
I have been meaning to write to you for sometime but somehow the days pass.
I do not know if you know that my precious Mother passed away Oct. 19, 1995.
Her funeral was Oct. 23. I miss her so much as she had lived with me for
the past two years.
Mother had a stroke Aug. 3, 1991 and that made her nearly blind and she also
could not remember anything from about the past 30-40 years I guess.
But, she was so gentel (sic) and easy. Never demanding nor cross.
I had a lady stay every night from 9pm until 7am so I could rest.
Sept 13 - She had another stroke which really took all memory and it became
necessary to put her in the hospital for 5 days then 4 week in a convelesent (sic) home.
She died quietly in her sleep and my daughter Susan & I were with her.
Forgive me for not letting you know sooner but I have been kept busy -
I hope you folks are feeling better and I would like to hear from you.
