Funeral services for John E. Brovont, who died Thursday, will be at 2 p.m.
Sunday at Church of the Brethren in Rossville with the Rev. Willard Grant
officiating. Visitation will begin at Brown Funeral Home in Rossville
after 4 p.m. Saturday. Interment will be in Rossville Cemetery.

Dies Thursday in Indiana
John E. Brovont, 87, of Rossville, Ind. died at Home Hospital in Lafayette, Ind.
Thursday at 11:30 p.m. He had been hospitalized for the past three weeks.
He was born in Gratiot County on March 23, 1884, to Daniel and
Emma Bottoroff Brovont. On Feb. 22, 1906, he was married to Essie Bogue,
who preceded him in death in Jan. 7, 1969.
Mr. Brovont was a retired farmer and a member of the
Church of the Brethren.
Surviving are two sons, Ivan, of Lafayette, Ind. and Roy of Marion, Ind.;
two daughters, Mrs. Frank (Gladys) Muringer of Mount Morris, MI;
and Mrs. Roy (Emma) Shanks of Frankfort, Ind.; one sister,
Mrs. Orpha Adams of Davison, Mich.; one half-brother,
Elmer Brovont, of Rossville; 10 grandchildren; 31 greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Church of the Brethren in Rossville.
Brown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
