"In the 1851 and 1880 census Henry Browand lived in Lake Twp.,
Stark Co., OH
and was the first minister of a German Baptist Brethren Church
in
eastern part of Ohio after 1804 at West Nimishillen. He preached
in German.
The church is still in existence and is located near Canton,
Ohio
but has been renamed Mount Pleasant."
