 This property is from what Daniel Bowser patented on 8 Oct 1834: Hancock Co.,
OH, Section 17, NW 1/4, T1N, R12E, 160 acres #7243. On this same day he
patented Section 14, SW 1/4, T1N, R12E, 160 acres #7242.
 David (sic) Bowser Deed to Ulrich Thomas: Know all men by these presents
that I, David Bowser, of Stark County, Ohio, for the consideration
of four hundred dollars received of Ulrich Thomas. Do hereby give,
grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said Ulrich Thomas
the following described real estate, situated in Hancock County
and State of Ohio, to wit: the west half of the North-West quarter
of Section seventeen, in Township one North, of Range 12
in the district of lands subject to sale at Bucyrus, Ohio,
containing eighty acres. To have and to hold the above bargained
and granted premises, with the appurtenances thereof,
unto him the said grantee his heirs and assigns forever.
And the said grantor does for himself and his heirs,
covenant with the said grantee his heirs and assigns that
he is well seized of the premises as of a good indefeasible estate
in fee simple; that he has good right to bargain and sell the
same in manner and form as is above written; that the same are
free of all incumbrances whatsoever, and that the said grantor
and his heirs will forever warrant and defend the same to him
the said grantee and his heirs and assigns against all lawful claims
whatsoever. In witness whereof, the said grantor and Anna
Bowser his wife (Mrs. hereby releases her right of dower in
said premises) hereunto set their hands and seals this
twenty sixth day of November Anno Domini, one
thousand eight hundred and forty six.

 The State of Ohio, Stark County S.S.--Before me the undersigned
authority within and for the county aforesaid personally came
Daniel Bowser and Anna Bowser his wife and severally
acknowledged the signing and sealing of the within conveyance.
And the said Anna Bowser, wife of Daniel Bowser,
being by me examined separate and apart from her said husband,
and the contents of the within deed being by me
made known to her declared, upon such separate examination,
that she did voluntarily sign, seal and acknowledge the same,
and that she is still satisfied therewith. In testimony whereof,
I hereunto set my hand this twenty sixth day of
November A.D., one thousand eight hundred and forty six.

 Notes for Anna Eby Bowser:
A Michael Ebi bought land in Hancock Co., OH close
to Daniel Bowser and his wife Anna Eby before they bought theirs.
Michael bought on 30 Sep 1834 in section 36,  80 acres and 80 acres.
Daniel bought on 8 Oct 1834. Could Michael Ebi be Anna Eby's brother?

 From the book 'Old Landmarks' (Canton and Stark Cos.), the section
on Plain Township, '...the Eby tract was in section 24.
John and David Eby were given on a list of settlers who came in 1806.
The Ebys came from Washington Co., PA, and were single when
they came. It says they spent their first winter at their home in PA.

 The 1875 atlas of Stark shows an S.P. Eby in section 24, with two tracts,
one of 80 acres and another of 188.59 acres. To the north Benjamin Smith;
to the south and west H. Grice; to the east J.B. Violand.

 Her father could be David Davis Eby, as he and his two sons,
John and David, were all in Stark Co., OH.

(in newspaper obit died the 19th)(this I feel is Anna's father)
Location:  On Nimishillen Church Rd.  3/4 mi east of Route 43 (Kent Road),
2 1/2 mi south of Hartville, Section 1 is the older part and lies across
the road from the Church on the north side.
There are 27 short rows running from south to north from the road.

"The Nimishillen church was organized by Bishop John Gans in 1804.
From 1804 to 1825 services were held regularly at two week intervals in
the homes and barns of about 25 members -- David Snyder, Conrad Brumbaugh
(Joseph Royer later bought Conrad Brumbaugh's home), David Ebie,
William Hoover, John Sheidler, Peter Ebie, Jacob Snyder, Martin Houser,
Joseph Schneider, Widow Thomas, George Swinehart, Andrew Christ,
Daniel Brown, Jacob Funk, Michael Flory, Widow Leiser, John Hershey,
David Bixler, John Thomas, Jacob Replogle, Jacob Bauer, John Garl,
Daniel Markley, Daniel Bowser, Joseph Showalter. (Brethren Roots, Winter 1998)"
