About James Walter * Eiland:

James Walter Eiland, 90, Indianapolis, died Jan. 30, 2004. He formerly lived in Michigan, where he was active in the church. He retired from Clark Equipment after over 30 years.
James is survived by his wife, Maggie Murray Eiland; children, Mary Jo Turner, Willie Pearl Tripplett, Janie Purchase and Tammy Eiland Winters; brother, Frederick Eiland; 24 grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Interment: Washington Park North Cemetery.
