Joy’s
name is a familiar acronym for Jesus Others Yourself and her life was a testament to this. She was a
leader of people but a follower of Jesus Christ and always put Him first in her life. Her faith was
the cornerstone of her life and she led by her Christian example. She truly was one who put others before
herself, having spent her entire life in service to others. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She took great pleasure in doing special things with her granddaughters, Madison and Macy Joy, and had
pride in her family’s accomplishments. She was a dear friend to many and always found time for them
as well. Her life was a model to emulate and her courageous battle with brain cancer was a testimony
of faith. Her spirit will live on in the many lives she has touched.
