Pearl A. Eiland - Pueblo Chieftain - August 20, 2003 - Pearl A. Eiland passed away Aug. 18, 2003, in Pueblo. Pearl was born Dec. 27, 1914, in Morton County, Kan., one of eight children to Norman and Myrtle Dwight. She was preceded in death by her husband, Teague B. Eiland; son, Edwin; sisters, Mabel Russ and Ethel Russell; her brother, Harvey Dwight; and her parents. Mrs. Eiland is survived by her brothers, George (Thelma) Dwight, and Frank (Beverly) Dwight, both of Pueblo; sisters, Ruth (Wayne) Caple of Sherman, Texas, and Bessie (Marshall) Downey of Beulah; her grandchildren, John, Linda, Eddie, Cindy, Dave and Steve; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 22, 2003, in the Imperial Cemetery with David Eiland officiating.
