Rev. G.E. Pry of Gladewater officiated. He was born 1/24/1915 in Rockdale to M/M. Alfred Ray & Clara Belle Eiland Eads. He had been a Tucson resident for the past 2 years and was a former resident of Beaumont. He was a chemistry professor at Lamar Univ., Beaumont, retiring after 39 years. Married Serena Stark on 6/2/1942 in Denton. Member of Presbyterian Church. Survivors: Wife, Serena of Tucson, Az.; son, John C Eads of Beaumont; daughter, Janet Curtiss of Tucson, Az.; brother, Harold J.
