presumily born in East Haddam who married Joanna Pemberton
(1780)(1854) from Preston in Middlesex County in 1803. James was a
blacksmith in Lebanon and removed to NY state with his family in
early 1800's. I believe his parents may have been John Randall and
Catherine Lamb. |

Sterling City?, East Haddam, CT. He was the son of John STERLING and
Jane RANSOM, originally from Lyme. Nathan married Elizabeth MORGAN
and eventually moved his family to Vermont. His grandsons, Simon ( my
GGG Grandfather) and Elisha, migrated from Vermont to Venango
Co.,Pennsylvania in 1819. I only have a few names, dates, and
places--none of the real stories that make up history. Any help would

Abraham WILLIAMS was in the Revolutionary War and lived in East
Haddam,Ct. The refrence I found was that he was buried in Ackley
Cemetery in East Haddam as on of the Revolutionary Patriots. We
haven't been able to find the date of his death and thought maybe
there might some records of him at this cemetery. Thank you for you
