I am researching the Gates family, and I am having a difficult time
finding the father of my gggg-grandfather,Christian Gates b. 1762 in
SC. Some records show the father to be George b. 1732, the son of
Thomas Jr. b. 1693 in Haddam, CT. This is my missing link to George
Gates b. 1640 in Haddam. I am one of four gggg granddaughters of
Christian that met on the net, and we are willing to share
