St. Bridget of Kildare
is a parish est. first as a mission of St. Andrew in Colchester in
1867. Burials occured in the parish cemetery as early as that date.
Records of baptism, which give birthdate, parents etc. begin in 1901
when the parish was made independent. Marriage records and death
records begin at the same time. Early records are sometimes found in
St. Andrew, and cemetery records are quite scattered and ill kept. PLEASE
contact the parish prior to arrival for research. |
