Each of the above names served fifteen days, from Aug. 9 to Aug 24, 1757. Joseph Parker served 9 days, Eli Warner served 8 days. Amos Rothburn, Thos Cowdry and Roswell Knowlton served 7 days. 62 of the above named rode horses from East Haddam. Elisha Johnson, James Forsyth, Thomas Jones, Caleb Beebe, Nathl Sparrow, Ebr Cook and Eliakm Spencer each 7 days; Robert Hungerford and Christo Holmes each 3 days to bring back horses.
