Rufus Walker Clark, grandson of Abraham Clark and Mary Ann Edgmon, was born July 6, 1878 to Samuel Harvey Clark and Orlena Newberry. He married Lucy Vilena McGhee in 1901, the daughter of Harmon Lafayette McGhee and Bernetta Armer. Cora Mabel Clark was their seventh child, born October 15, 1922 died January 20, 2000.
