Edward Edgmon was son of Philemon Edgmon and Abigail Sparks...Philemon was son of Thomas K. Edgmon and Nancy Percy. Wife of Edward was Sarah Guthrie, daughter of Edmond Guthrie and second wife, Mary Reed Harkey.
This picture was taken in the fall of 1899 at Mossville, Newton County, Arkansas. My Grandpa Leither is sitting on his "Ma's" lap...wearing a dress made of same fabric as his mother's blouse. Jesse Edgmon is standing between his parents. Hessie Edgmon is standing next to his father, Edward Edgmon. Josie Edgmon is on the left in the back, next is Philmon Edgmon, with Edmond Edgmon on the right.
Children born after the picture was taken: Sammie Edgmon, Mattie Grace Edgmon, Eldridge Edgmon, Mary Lillian Edgmon, and Virgil Edgmon.
