This picture is of Braxton Casey, son of Rachael Edgmon Casey and Miles Casey. It was on a tintype. I know that Polly Casey Edgmon (Braxton's grandmother) raised him and his siblings when Rachael died and Miles was killed in the Civil War. But this Dad Edgmon couldn't be Polly's husband, Braxton, as the younger Braxton was just a small child when his grandfather was killed. Do you know who the Dad Edgmon is? I feel that it was one of his uncles. I hope someone can clear this up for me.
