October 30, 1866 in Newton County, Arkansas; daughter of Lemuel
Standridge and Sarah Blevins/Blair. She was born November 15, 1837 in
Richland Creek, Carroll County, Arkansas, and died August 04, 1921 in
Richland Township, Newton County, Arkansas.

James Jones was Elizabeth's second husband and he was a Member of the
Co. C. 1st Arkansas Infantry Volunteers Union Army.
It has been said that two of their son's Lemuel 'Lem' and Louis were
given allotments in the Cherokee Nation, Indian Territory.?? No proof

Township, Newton County, Arkansas. She married (2) Jeremiah 'Jerry'
Standridge February 27, 1881 in Pope County, Arkansas, son of John
Standridge and Mary Elizabeth. He was born December 25, 1834 in Carroll
County, Arkansas, and died February 23, 1917 in Richland Township, Newton

Last name of Telitha "Dett" Jones Meek Standridge, her last name was found,
on the Old Settlers roll along with her father John and brother and sisters.
Elizabeth Standridge Felkins Jones Gaylean her two sons Lemuel Alexander and
Lewis Howard Jones also found on this roll. Also a John Brassfield,
information found by by David J. Williams.

Notes for Jeremiah 'Jerry' Standridge:
Jerry was enlisted in Company C. 1st. Arkansas Infantry Volunteers, Union At
Fayetteville, Arkansas, on February 12, 1863, and he was discharged on August
10, 1865, at Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He was six feet, three inches tall. gray
eyes, hair was dark and his complexion was dark. During the Civil War
Jerry's Military records shows him as deserted and absent on detached service
with a Captain Vanderpool. During the Civil War, Jerry's Militay records
show him as a deserter & absent on detached service with the Captain
Vanderpool, for the same period of time. It could be due to a differene in
or philosophy in the person who took the roll or it could have just been a
mass confusion.

Jerry is buried at Moore Cemetery...he is just inside the south gate, with a
grave marked with a Military marker.
